The amenities were excellent, especially the
Gorgeous grounds and the cozy lounge areas. The dining experience was disappointing due to the mix-up with my food allergies, which left me uneasy. I enjoyed my stay but felt the service could improve.

I spent here 1 really special days and would come there again. Everything was nice, the continental breakfast was totally worth it. The hotel's location was good and fab, so close to the Pullman restaurant which has the original carriages from the orient express, north or Cliffs, and a beautiful golf course...

This hotel was located in a remote area just next door to a river which is very nice, western ireland and golf course. Sumptuous and magnificent rooms, the views over the walled garden were particularly good.

It was just an appropriate option for a transient stop in Galway with really good value. The falconry excursion was amazing and one of the best highlights of my trip. Make sure to book activities in advance to avoid disappointment.

Model 5-star hotel, with spacious golf area. A model doorman at the entrance as well as at the reception... We've been upgraded to a luxury hotel for 200 euros, which is incredibly cool. Panoramic view of the area, carriages of Pullman restaurant, in the morning you can see the falcons for free right from the window - when someone orders them. Nespresso in the room, kettle. Bathrobes, slippers. Billiard room.
The waitresses at breakfast could have been a little less gloomy - given that there were fewer than 5-7 guests at breakfast. Take reception as an example. Options for dinner at the hotel: a luxury Pullman for 60-70 euros or a bar with an appropriate menu. We would like to bring the bar menu to a restaurant for a full dinner. The style of the hotel is still "luxury" - read antiques and conservatism. We certainly prefer more modern style.

Private cinema experience, Falconry experiences available, Beautiful walking trails around the hotel
Navigational challenges within the hotel can be frustrating!!! The building work noise during early morning hours is unacceptable paying premium prices!!! There is a glaring need for improved maintenance in common areas that are lacking tidiness!!!

Glenlo Abbey features beautifully appointed rooms and perfect cleanliness throughout the hotel. The breakfast provided a good selection, including freshly baked pastries and expertly brewed Nespresso coffee.
